Sarah's Home For The Holidays!

Auntie Sarah is back from China for the holiday! And she came bearing gifts! The girls got adorable silky asian outfits and Bei and Jing stuffed animals. So cute!! Gary and I got real Beijing Olympic shirts and chopsticks! We missed you Sarah and am glad you are here for a little bit.
Sarah with Addison. She is checking out her silky pants!
Gracie looks nice and cozy with Auntie Sarah. See, they remember you!!

Gracie is still a little unsure about her silky outfit...

The Start of Christmas Vacation!

Gary officially started his Christmas vacation! He has 16 days off, and the girls will be so thrilled to have him home for a bit. We went to his Sheldon staff Christmas party. The girls were a hit, as usual. They behaved so well, and their outfits (thanks Auntie Vanessa & Auntie Jill) were the biggest hit. We are looking forward to a wonderful Christmas and relaxing holiday!
This is actually taken at the very end of the evening...way past their bedtime. But they are still going strong!

Check out their cute outfits...they are stylin'!

Showing off their skills. They can go down the stairs with no hands. What an accomplishment!

Gracie and Mommy. What a pair!

Noah's 1st Birthday!

Our dear friends Eric and Stacy's baby turned 1! Noah shared his day at Scandia (family fun center) where the girls got to play putt putt for the first time. That was fun! Everyone had a great time watching Noah play and eat. We can't wait for our kids to grow up together!
The beautiful cake!
He can walk with his mower...a gift passed on from the girls.

Mommy and Addison having a good time.

Birthday boy Noah and proud Daddy!

Gracie and Addy liked to climb in the car and pretend to drive.

Addison's version of miniature golf--walk the ball into the hole and drop it!

Getting ready for the swing...and still a lefty! Too bad I can't figure out which kid that is. I believe it is Gracie...right?? Actually, might be Addy. Wow!

Oh just a few pics...

Gracie just finished eating a cookie. I think she liked it!
Addison most likely enjoyed it too! Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?

This is how they were in the morning before they woke up. Their heads are touching too! So cute!!!

Tree Farm

We went to the tree farm and got a tree today. Even though we are disappointed that we aren't moving in to our new house for Christmas, we decided to decorate our small condo with a tree. We'll call it our Charlie Brown tree. It's cute and about the same size as the girls so it's perfect!! The girls had a good time picking out their new tree. You'll have to stay tuned for pictures of it all decorated...
Looks like Addy is all ready for Christmas! She'd be a good little elf, wouldn't she?
All bundled up and ready to pick out their first tree.

Gracie found the one she wants...and it is the perfect size.

Addy doesn't know where to begin. Sooo many trees to pick from!

Tree Lighting in Downtown Vacaville

The whole town of Vacaville gathered for the Merriment of Main and tree lighting ceremony. Everyone enjoyed the lights, festivities, and all the treats that the local businesses provided. It was a great way to get in the Christmas spirit and the girls people watched and tried to take it all in.

The beautiful tree! Eat your heart out Rockefeller Center! :)
The family of four enjoying the festivities.

The girls picture is a part of the P for the word Peace. Unfortunately it isn't visible.

This was a collage of many Vacavillians.

Look at those cuties holding hands! Trying to keep each other warm I guess.

Our first picture with Santa! The girls wanted nothing to do with his lap...we could feel them shaking at our first attempt. Maybe next year...

The Kitchen

Lola and Grandpa got the girls a play kitchen for Christmas. We set it up early because we knew how much they would enjoy it...and they love it! Thanks Lola and Grandpa. It keeps them busy and out of trouble :)
Addison is testing out the oven mitt.
Gracie loves watermelon, even if it is fake!

Addy is going to be a wonderful chef someday!

Gracie is getting ready to put something in the oven.

Thanksgiving in Seattle

The girls went on their third airplane ride to Seattle for Thanksgiving. (They were angels of course...already pros on the plane). We got to spend the holiday with Lola and Grandpa Sochulak, Auntie Vanessa, Auntie Jill, and little Nico. The girls enjoyed meeting their cousin for the first time, as Gary and I enjoyed meeting our nephew for the first time! The weather was great while we visited...only lightly rained one day and then the day we were leaving! It was very nice hanging out with the family while the girls showed off all of their tricks. It was unfortunately a quick trip and hard to say good-bye. Until next time...
Daddy and Gracie hangin' out.
Addison is ready to tackle the cold weather!

The girls got to go to the Seattle Aquarium and saw lots of neat fish. They make a cute jelly-fish!

Gracie was testing out Nico's pappasan chair. Makes you realize how big they are and how fast they grow up! :(

Our newest nephew and cousin Nico...snug as a bug in a rug!

Lola and Grandpa gave them babies to play with...they are mommys already!

The cutest picture! Addison with her cousin Bella.

Gracie, your sweet smile can make anyone happy.

Addy looking awfully content.

Addison, Gracie and Nico. Nico is tired from those energetic girls!

Sisterly Love!

I caught Gracie showing some love for her sister. I had to share these with you all! You know, having twins can be tough sometimes, but it can sure have its benefits. I look forward to witnessing their special bond throughout their life...

Apple Hill

A Fall favorite if you live in our area is Apple Hill. It's all about the apple ranches where you can find delicious apple cider, apple pie, caramel apples, the list goes on and on. The girls had a great time visiting all the orchards, especially since they were with their Auntie Lisa and her friend Christine from Georgia. We plan on going back every year and making it a fall family tradition!
Here are the girls at our first stop...Abel's Apple Acres.
Gracie really wanted to drive the golf cart taxi. Scary thought seeing them behind the wheel!

Addison is having a ball joking with Auntie Lisa.

Gracie wanted to join the fun too!

Gracie was playing peek-a-boo with Auntie Lisa.

Addison has discovered how to stick her tongue out back and forth like a lizard. Not sure where she learned it, but it is quite funny to watch.
