Happy Halloween!...from the Little Red Riding Hoods

We headed to downtown Vacaville where all of the shops gave out candy for Halloween. It was almost like a parade of kids in one line trick-or-treating. The girls had a great time walking around, holding their baskets, and stopping in the middle of the street to check out their goodies. Of course everyone stopped to admire the girls...they attract so much attention! We had a good time hanging out with our friends Eric, Stacy, and Noah. Happy Halloween to all!!

Gracie sure does make a cute lil' riding hood!
And so does Addison!

Daddy loves his little girls!

There they are waiting patiently in line for the next store to give them a treat. Looks like they only have one treat so far!

Little Noah sure does make a cute pumpkin!

We gave in and let them enjoy one treat. They look awfully cute sucking on their lolipops!

Pumpkin Patch

We took the girls to a pumpkin patch this weekend. Well, we thought it was a pumpkin patch. There was a hay maze and lots of pumpkins laying around, but it wasn't a "real" pumpkin patch. But who cares, the girls had fun and got to pick a pumpkin out that was just their size.

Gracie chillin' on top of a hay stack.
Addy seemed to enjoy this huge gourd.
Addison keeping her little pumpkin safe from any harm. (Kinda like a male penguin)

Gracie was peeking through the hay maze.
There's Noah sitting in between his two loves. Which one will he choose?? You know he's thinking he is a stud right about now.

Kylie's 2nd Birthday

Our friend Kylie turned 2! The girls had such a great time. As soon as we arrived they helped themselves to all of Kylie's things...and she has lots of neat things! It was a great day outside and the girls enjoyed the bouncy house and the mushroom filled with balls. I am sure they are looking forward to the day when they turn 2 :)

Gracie is thinking about where to play next. Hmm, a big decision!
Here's the birthday girl! She's a doll!
Gracie loved rolling around those balls!
Addy is picking out a ball to throw...and we think she is a lefty!

The girls playing with babies. Too cute!
Addison is coloring. Notice she is using her left hand. We'll just have to fix that grip by the time she goes to Kindergarten :)

Jungle Tots

The girls and I discovered an indoor facility where kids come and have free play. There are lots of things for them to do which include slides, a kitchen, a bouncy house, and even a roller coaster. It is a great place for them to learn new skills and interact with other children. The girls absolutely love it...and so do we!

Addy is riding a bouncy creature of some sort.
Gracie---A Mozart in the making! Their friend Kylie gives Gracie a big hug in the kitchen.
The twins are ready for their ride on the roller coaster! And man, does it go fast!

Trip to Clear Lake

We headed to Clear Lake for the weekend . This is actually where Gary proposed to me. We had a great time relaxing, BBQ-ing, and on Saturday we went to the Seaplane Splash-In on the lake. There were lots of seaplanes on display at the local high school and the girls got to watch them take off and fly across the lake. Lots of fun!!Gracie is trying to brush her teeth.
Wow Addy!...Strike a pose!

The girls with Grandma and Grandpa Schmidt at the Splash-In.

Addison loves to drive...already!

Banana Chase in San Francisco

Addison is literally a crack-up 24/7.
Gracie chillin' at Kezar Stadium trying to open an energy drink.
At the start line ready to go!
Here we are with Liz and Madison.

Don't think I need a caption here.
These are the bananas we tried to chase.

We headed down to San Francisco for the weekend to run our first 5K with the girls and to celebrate my 31st birthday. We stayed at a lovely bed and breakfast in Daly City, which was only a few miles away from the starting line. We spent a full day shopping in Union Square and the girls were awesome. They are already learning how to shop! The race began at Kezar Stadium (where the 49ers used to play), continuing through parts of Golden Gate Park and ending back at Kezar Stadium. We were surprised to see so many jogging strollers out there. I think we were 1 of about 40 or 50. The girls had a good time watching all of the dogs walking in the park as they munched on Cheerios. It was a really good time and we plan on doing many more races in the future.

Yummy Watermelon!

We gave the girls their own slice of watermelon...and boy did they go to town. They are becoming so much more independent. No more babies. Mommy is so sad!
